Michael Lynn is a writer/director best-known for producing more than 50 episodes of the iconic TV series “E! True Hollywood Story,” including two of the top three “True Hollywood Stories” of all time. He was responsible for many of the highest-rated THS shows, such as “The Last Days Of Elvis,” “Oprah,” “Jenna Jameson,” “Bill Clinton,” “Whitney Houston” and a three-hour E! News Special on “The Life & Death Of Anna Nicole.”
In 2003, he received an Emmy Nomination as producer of the “Best Nonfiction Series” for the E! True Hollywood Story of “Jaws.”Michael has also won Prism Award commendations for “Lauren Chapin,” “Carre Otis,” “The O’Neals” and "The Life & Death Of Anna Nicole.” In addition, he created, wrote and produced “True American Story,” a spinoff of THS, and also produced the high-end real estate show “A-List Listings.”
Prior to working at E! and NBC/Universal, Michael was a “Miami Herald” reporter/photographer, a Capitol Hill wire service correspondent, wine writer and restaurant critic, contributing to the “Robb Report,” “Hollywood Reporter” and “Endless Vacation” magazines, among others.
In 2013, he started Sunnyslope Productions, which is developing more than a dozen reality projects, including the hybrid comedy/travel show “Killing Time” and “Ride Of Your Life” with Liberated Genius. Michael was also executive producer of the innovative comedy-documentary series “True Internet Tales” from Endemol Beyond and is the co-writer of the upcoming supernatural indie feature “The 27 Club.” He just finished producing/writing a biography series called “Cover Story” for AOMedia/GSN Network, writing two new A&E music documentaries and is currently script consultant for the upcoming reboot of the “E! True Hollywood Story.”
